As I said before, I'm an editor, writer, musician, and photographer who grew up in southern Ohio hill country. Around the age of 10, the science fiction of Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and Ray Bradbury swept me away and I was never the same. Then the Beatles came along, and I learned to play the guitar.

In 1991, I decided that life without Christ at the center was just worthless so I accepted the gift of salvation, and guess what? That's right. I was never the same after that.

In 2004, I won a contest with my first novel, Thrips, and got it published as a $27 hardcover. It sold a few copies, and if they had just been higher priced--like $1,000 or so each--I'd have made a pretty good living for a year or so.

Instead, in 2006 I regained the rights to the novel, reworked it and offered it in 2008 as a $6.99 paperback from Amazon.com or a $1.59 Kindle Version. It's now called THRIPZ and you can read about it at THRIPZ.com, as well as read the First Six Chapters!.
